Meet Hanbo Hou

Drawing from a centuries-old family legacy, Hanbo Hou is a master healer dedicated to restoring balance and vitality to patients. As a leading expert in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), he combines the wisdom of the East with the rigour of Western science to offer unparalleled care.

Hanbo specializes in fortifying health by harnessing the body’s vital energy, alleviating pain through meridian unblocking, and balancing hormones through harmonizing Yin-Yang. His exceptional skills extend to managing complex and rare health conditions and providing hope and healing to those in need.

With a Doctorate of Naturopathy from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) and a renowned education from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (BUCM), Hanbo’s comprehensive approach addresses the root cause of imbalances.

At Lotus Care, he creates personalized treatment plans, combining acupuncture, herbal medicine, and naturopathic therapies to guide you toward optimal health.

Meanwhile, as a dedicated educator and researcher for acupuncturist in Ottawa, Hanbo is committed to advancing TCM while honouring its rich traditions. At Lotus Care, he combines his extensive knowledge with compassion to help patients achieve optimal health and balance.

Meet Janique St-Laurent

Janique believes in the power of holding space for healing, activating key meridians, and guiding patients toward inner harmony.

She offers a diverse range of Traditional Chinese Medicine treatments, including TCM Acupuncture, Cosmetic Acupuncture, Facial Massage, Fascial Cupping, Gua Sha (Therapeutic & Cosmetic), and Tuina. In addition, she provides Hypnosis as a separate or optional combined service for those interested in guided mind-body healing.

Journey with Integrative Wellness:

Janique began her journey in energy healing with Usui Reiki certification (Level 1 & 2) in 2016, witnessing firsthand the benefits of energetic work. Inspired to integrate research-based practices with ancient wisdom, she pursued Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) after years of independent study in TCM, Yoga, Ayurveda, and Jyotish.

Growing up, her family frequently sought TCM care, and acupuncture was a familiar & healing presence in her life.

In 2020 she formally studied Acupuncture at the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, where she observed how patients benefited from self-led relaxation techniques, such as breathwork and meditation, during treatments.

Recognizing the importance of mental and emotional well-being in sustaining acupuncture’s effects, she deepened her practice with Certification in Clinical Hypnosis.

Always open to deepening understanding and depth of skills, Janique received specialized training in Channel Palpation (Wang Ju-Yi lineage), authentic Chinese acupuncture techniques passed down from her mother-in-law, Bi Weilian, and ongoing research within the field.

Beyond acupuncture, Janique shares the therapeutic power of hypnosis through her YouTube channel, @HypnosisJAnuradhaASMR, offering guided sessions for relaxation and healing.
